Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Effective Date: 28 March 2025
This Data Processing Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Global Connect (“Processor”) and our clients (“Controller”) to reflect the parties’ agreement with regard to the processing of personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Subject Matter and Duration
This Agreement governs the processing of personal data by Global Connect on behalf of the Controller for the duration of the services provided, as outlined in the service contract between the parties.
2. Nature and Purpose of Processing
The Processor may process personal data for the following purposes:
- Lead generation and contact outreach
- Customer support and telemarketing services
- CRM integration and data entry tasks
- Marketing, communication, and reporting services
3. Categories of Data Subjects
Categories may include but are not limited to:
- Clients’ customers and prospects
- Business contacts
- Website visitors or platform users
4. Types of Personal Data
The personal data processed may include:
- Full name, job title, and company
- Email address and phone number
- Location and IP address
- Other relevant contact or marketing information
5. Processor Obligations
Global Connect agrees to:
- Process personal data only on documented instructions from the Controller
- Ensure confidentiality and train personnel handling data
- Implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures
- Assist the Controller in fulfilling data subject requests
- Notify the Controller without undue delay in the event of a data breach
6. Sub-Processors
The Controller authorizes Global Connect to engage sub-processors for data hosting, analytics, CRM, and communication tools, provided such sub-processors are contractually bound to comply with data protection standards equivalent to those in this Agreement.
7. International Transfers
Global Connect may transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) provided that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or similar agreements.
8. Data Subject Rights
Global Connect will support the Controller in responding to data subject requests including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, as required under applicable law.
9. Security Measures
We maintain industry-standard security measures, including encryption, access controls, secure storage, and monitoring systems, to protect data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and accidental loss or destruction.
10. Termination
Upon termination of services, Global Connect will return or delete all personal data unless legal obligations require storage. Documentation of deletion can be provided upon request.
